One man was injured and another man was arrested after a man drove a car into a home around 3 a.m. in Davenport.

A 26-year-old man was driving a BMW when he failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection an crashed into a home. The car went through the wall and nearly ended up in the basement.

The passenger in his vehicle was treated for non-life threatening injuries and was later released. The driver was charged with drunk driving, failure to control the vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident. No one was inside the home when the accident occurred and it took two tow trucks to remove the car from the home.
