Adverse weather may be reason for rollover crash
A rollover accident on Highway 18 that sent one man to the hospital may have been caused by inclement weather conditions.
The accident occurred Monday morning at 7:53 a.m. when the 49-year-old man lost control of his vehicle and went into the median. This caused the vehicle to flip and roll over finally coming to a rest right side up facing the southeast.
According to the accident report, the snow on the roadways was a factor in the accident. The man was transported to the local medical center with non-life threatening injuries and he was later treated and released.
