Twenty-three students in hosptial after bus accident

Twenty-three students were injured after a bus accident on Highway 18 in Clayton County.

The students were from the MFL MarMac school district and were traveling to school at 8 a.m. when the accident occurred. There was patchy fog in the area at the time, but Iowa State Patrol are still investigating to see if this was a factor.

The Superintendent of the school was at the scene shortly after the crash and made the decision that 23 students needed to travel to area hospitals. None of the injuries seemed to be life threatening and all victims will make a full recovery.
