A woman has recently been sentenced for drunk driving after she was arrested and charged with a DWI with children in the car.
The woman plead guilty to drunk driving and neglect of a dependant person. The charge stems from a November incident when police found the woman driving off the side of the road.
When she reached the 1500 block of 9th Street her car then got stuck on the tracks. Police then performed a field sobriety test and she had a blood alcohol content at 0.242, which is three times the legal limit. She now can not go into any bars or taverns for at least two years.
