Two killed in Iowa rollover accident

Two adults were killed and three children injured in a single-car rollover accident in Iowa.

The accident occurred on Highway 151 in Monticello at about 8:30 in the evening. The driver was a 58-year-old man from Missouri who was driving his family to a wedding.

Details on the accident are still unknown, but it is known that the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The female passenger was pronounced dead later at the hospital and four other were also transported to the hospital.

Man injured in rollover accident

A man was injured in a one vehicle rollover accident in Jacksonville.

The 19-year-old was traveling westbound on 320th Street at what officials think may have been a high speed. The teen then lost control of the car and crossed the center line and struck a culvert in a ditch on the side of the road. This impact caused his car to flip and land on the top.

The teen was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital for treatment, but no further information on his condition has been released. The teen faces charges of failure to maintain control of a vehicle.
